Terms of Service

The terms,
without the runaround.

These terms cover how our site and our handmade, made-to-order products work — including personalization, returns, and the legal basics. We've kept them as plain as the law allows.

Handmade to order

Pieces are cut, stitched, and branded by hand after you order. Natural leather varies in color and grain — that's the point, not a defect.

Your designs, your rights

When you send us a logo or text to brand, you confirm it's yours to use. We may decline anything unlawful, offensive, or infringing.

Backed for life

Every piece carries our lifetime guarantee. Shipping, returns, and warranty each have their own detailed page.

01

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Lifetime Leather Co. ("Lifetime Leather," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of lifetimeleather.com and your purchase of our products (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services or place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

03

Our products — handmade & made to order

Our goods are handcrafted from natural, full-grain leather, and most are made to order. Because leather is a natural material, variation in color, grain, texture, and markings is expected and is not a defect — each piece is one of a kind, and it will develop a patina with use. Colors shown on your screen are representative and may differ from the finished piece due to display settings and the nature of the hide. Product descriptions, dimensions, and availability may change, and we may correct errors or limit quantities at any time.

04

Personalization & content you submit

When you order personalization — fire branding, embroidery, stamps, monograms, names, dates, logos, artwork, or message text ("Customer Content") — the following apply:

  • You warrant that you own or have all rights and permissions necessary to use and reproduce the Customer Content, and that it does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other right of any third party, and is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or obscene.
  • You grant Lifetime Leather a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and apply the Customer Content solely to produce, fulfill, and support your order (including reorders and repairs).
  • We may decline, cancel, or refund any order or Customer Content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, offensive, or that we are otherwise unable or unwilling to produce, at our sole discretion.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of Customer Content you submit, including any claim that it infringes a third party's rights.
  • Because personalized pieces are made uniquely for you, they are non-returnable and non-refundable except where the piece is defective or we made an error — see our returns and warranty pages.
05

Orders, pricing & payment

All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order — including for suspected fraud, errors, or product or pricing inaccuracies — and will refund any amount charged for a cancelled order. Prices, promotions, and availability are subject to change. While we work to display accurate pricing, we reserve the right to correct errors and to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price, even after an order is confirmed. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total, including applicable taxes and shipping. You are responsible for any duties or import taxes on international orders.

06

Shipping, returns & lifetime warranty

Production and delivery timelines, return eligibility, and our lifetime guarantee are described in detail on the following pages, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference: our Shipping & Returns page and our Lifetime Guarantee page. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the package. Please review those pages before ordering.

07

Intellectual property

The Services and all content on them — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product designs, the Lifetime Leather name and marks, and our fire-brand stamp designs — are owned by or licensed to Lifetime Leather and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, resell, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

08

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. Among other things, you will not: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the Services or their security; attempt to gain unauthorized access; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or collect data; submit false information; or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation.

09

Third-party links & services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and tools (such as payment, shipping, reviews, and analytics providers). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices, and your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.

10

Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the express written lifetime guarantee we provide on our products, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

11

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lifetime Leather and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or a product will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim (or, if none, USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the express lifetime guarantee.

12

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lifetime Leather and its owners, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) Customer Content you submit; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13

Dispute resolution & arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, you agree to contact us at support@lifetimeleather.com and try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days before starting a formal proceeding.

Binding arbitration. Except for disputes that qualify for small-claims court and except for either party's right to seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse, any dispute that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, seated in Pinal County, Arizona, rather than in court.

Class-action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you and Lifetime Leather agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and that you wish to opt out.

14

Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, you agree that any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinal County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

15

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date below, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

16

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including supply, carrier, or natural events). These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the policies referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and Lifetime Leather regarding the Services.
