It is even better than I had hoped - the workmanship exceeded my expectations, and it is a beautiful piece of leather (I say piece, is it all one piece?)
One thing I particularly like is how few corners there are - so many leather kits are square on the ends, and not very flexible when you're trying to make them fit in a suitcase. I have already put all my stuff in the bag, and I am looking forward to using it on my next assignment.

I purchased a travel bag for my wife and customized it with her name on it along with the inscription written on the inside as well. The leather quality is exceptionally beautiful and I know as time goes on and it get "broken in and weathered", it will become more and more attractive. My wife simply loved it especially that her name was embossed on the outside and my personal message was stitched on the inside. Rather than being a department store gift, she could tell that I took the time well in advance of Christmas to have this specially made just for her. The material is top notch, Well worth the money. This is a gift that can be kept for decades.

Ordered the standard in honey. It fits all I need for my trips. I can pack: safety razor holder(also from lifetime leather), shave brush, full tube toothpaste, electric toothbrush, full deodorant, hair gel (in a 1 oz container), shave cream (also in 1 oz container), hair brush and bar soap container. I have to pack it right and fits perfect. Pretty sure I’d also fit some after shave balm too.
The leather is super thick, inside liner is not thin, zipper is sturdy. This bag will make it through many many trips and just get better with age.
