It needs pockets like a purse instead of just one open compartment. My wife had a Patricia Nash pocketbook backpack. She wanted something different. She needed pockets for phone keys, etc. inside the main compartment.

I stumbled across this company while looking for American made leather bags (more difficult to find than you'd think). I looked at the rave reviews and narrowed it down to the mini backpack in blackberry and took a chance ordering. I was excited to see that it shipped and came FAST. I don't know why but I thought the leather would be thicker BUT I am not disappointed. The quality is impeccable (there were a couple very minor blemishes in the leather around the pocket from the sewing machine but nothing really noticeable), and the leather is so soft yet durable. I LOVE the blackberry color (it was a little difficult to tell the color on the website but it's so beautiful in person). It's like a deep burgundy brown. This bag is SO comfortable on too I barely notice it, and for a 'mini' it's the perfect size. Not too small but enough room for what I need and I'm used to carrying a medium tote and everything fits. The added touch of the mini tassel and zipper pulls are cute too. LOVE the front pocket since there are no inside pockets but that is ok. I'm Soo happy I found this company and I'm already eyeing another bag lol so happy to have found a REAL American made bag company! Keep up the great work. Thank you!!!
